Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Python / Django Developer to build and scale high-performance web applications, REST APIs, microservices, and database architectures for enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain robust, scalable backend systems using Python and Django / Django REST Framework.
- Design and optimize database schemas in PostgreSQL / MySQL for high availability and low query latency.
- Integrate third-party APIs, webhooks, payment gateways (Stripe, Razorpay), and messaging queues (Celery, Redis).
- Implement automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines to maintain exceptional code quality.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to deliver world-class client deliverables.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years of commercial backend development experience with Python and Django.
- Strong proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM optimization.
- Solid grasp of RESTful APIs, JWT authentication, and asynchronous tasks with Celery/Redis.
- Experience with Docker, Linux server environments, and Git workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills, architectural mindset, and clear communication.
